@bigpuppydogeyes Just checking, but after moving the entire Mods folder to the desktop and deleting localthumbcache, was the problem still present before you added back any mods? Did you see any evidence that your mods were still present in your game? It's possible the game is reading a different user folder than the one from which you removed your mods, in which case we need to find that folder.
If you are in fact looking at the correct folder, try moving it, as in, the entire Sims 4 folder, to the desktop. Repair the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair. Then launch the game; a clean Sims 4 folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to it until you've tested.
There was no evidence of mods in my game, and when the mods were gone it worked. But I’ll try this other method when I wake up because it is early in the morning for me
