I cannot place objects in Build/Buy

I have updated the game today with the new patch, after loading the game with Mods enabled I cannot place objects in Build/Buy mode! Other friends are complaining of this issue, please please patch t...

when i go into build mode i cant actually place anything down. please help. picture attached

@itzjustlyn  Try removing the Better Build/Buy and TOOL mods, if you have them, and delete localthumbcache.package as well.
