I have been using the in-game video capture feature via the V key, and out of the tens of times I was definitely recording (yellow outline popped up), only 2 of them actually saved to the game-selected Recorded Videos folder in my computer files. I am doing everything right... why aren't they recording/saving? Or, are they somewhere else somehow??Do you need to be online for it to record to your local files or something? I am using mods if that affects anything, however I had mods going in the videos that did save.Please help!! The videos I recorded are really awesome and important to me, and I need them! Thanks in advance, any and all ideas help.

@PlanetofMarty Are the two that did save older or all from the same session ?Do you have any issues saving screenshots ?You shouldn't need to be online to record.

And oddly enough, no. I mean, I didn't try though so I will test that.

I cannot believe the entire sims 4 was being blocked!
I'm having trouble with paths, how/where can I add Sims four on the Allowed list?

I did/am. I wanted help finding the path to whichever files and folders I need to place in the "allow" category for my game to run smoothly.

Thank you! This worked for my Recordings and screenshots, but now I am getting an error that I don't have permission to edit the folders surrounding it? Does that make sense? I.e. I cannot edit/move other folders/files in my other folders in documents. It says I don't have permission?
