Stuck on the loading screen when exiting empty lots.

I've had this persistent issue where, upon exiting three of the lots in the San Myshuno neighbourhood, the loading screen gets stuck (going on forever), and the only way I can close the game is by forcing it through Task Manager.

Two of the lots are now bulldozed and completely empty, so no mods are used there, but it keeps getting stuck. It took multiple tries to just get the game save the lots bulldozed, which only happened when I got lucky once or twice, and the loading screen was not stuck anymore.  The third one I gave up on. 

The two lots that are empty now and lagging are in the Spice market neighbourhood (30x30), and the third one is one of the apartments in the Hakim house, Arts Quarter neighbourhood.

Please help, as this is incredibly frustrating now, having 3 lots that are unusable, which significantly affects my game.

  • itskachhh​  Please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete any lastexception files you see.  Try again to load one of these lots, and when it doesn't work, look for a new lastexception.  If you find one, open it (Notepad is fine), copy its contents, and paste them into a reply here.

    Please test with your Mods folder removed if you use any mods or custom content at all.  I understand the lots are empty and therefore don't have any cc, but it's still important to test with the content removed from your user folder.
