i cant get my sims to work please help

ive had sims for years now and a month ago it started not letting me into the game. i use steam to run it and also have origin installed. now when I press play it starts to load but then a pop up comes up with these exact words 

unable to start:

Cannot start because game data is missing or damaged. If you have mods installed please remove them and try again. If not please repair or reinstall the game via origin.

I don't know what this means and I've litterly deleted sims and reinstalled multiple times, deleted origin and reinstalled multiple times and idk what to do anymore. i use mods on curse forge aswell and I've deactived them all and it still doesn't work. someone pls help idk what to do anymore
