I have the game (sims4) but cannot download it

When I go in my EA app, it says I have the base game of Sims4, but the button to download it is grey and non clickable. The add-ons I could download, but not the base game. It is a year (then it was ...

Gabje78  The fact that you could download the add-ons and not the base game means you already have a copy of Sims 4 installed.  Please open Steam and see whether the game is installed there, and if so, try launching the game through Steam.  The same applies to Epic if you originally installed it there.
