Cursor drift problem

I'm hoping someone could help me out here.

I haven't played The Sims 4 in a while, and i decided to get back into it. I updated everything on my PC, but the second the game opens, my mouse decides to track to the top left corner of the screen, and no matter how much i move or click, it won't stop drifting towards the top left. I never had this issue before. I have tried restarting my PC multiple times, I deleted all my cc, and I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and it is still doing it. I can't click on anything on the main menu, and I can't even access the control panel in the game either.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way to fix it?

If that doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
