Is there any way I can save the game if it freezes?

my game freezes and I can’t save or do anything at all…  my sims can still walk around and stuff but I can’t click on anything, and the option called manage world (I think) has disappeared. I tried alt f4 and ctrl shift c but nothing works, I have also tried closing it from the taskbar but the save option didn’t show up. Is there any other way? I don’t wanna lose my progress… any help is appreciated🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️

    pxchxo  What happens when you click alt-F4?  That's the command to close a running app, and the game should normally ask whether you want to save.  Ctrl-shift-C wouldn't help here, so ignore that unless you're simply observing that the game isn't responding.

    Unfortunately, if you can't open the game menu with esc and alt-F4 doesn't allow you to save, there's nothing else you can do.
