Just need help with pack installation
Hello, this is very much my fault. Changed my settings to dx9 and the game would no longer open and told me to reinstall...this happened multiple time through steam. Everything was going fine, fixed ...
ILuvSharks_53 If you own your DLC through Steam, you need to launch it through Steam in order to use those packs. That's by design and has been this way since Steam started selling the game.

The Windows 7 and N parts don't apply to you if you can play through the EA App, of course. But the part about ReShade/GShade could, since you might have two copies of Sims 4 installed and only have added the utility to the Steam version. So please try the suggestions there and let me know how it goes.
