Dear puzzleaddict, i ended up in the device manager, I had to disable the graphics card and re-enable it. The game is working fine now. Thank you so much.
dinsazanes Your dxdiag says that your laptop's graphics chip isn't working properly because Windows can't load the driver for it. The driver is in fact present, just not being used. So please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the driver, as described here:
Lenovo doesn't offer a new-enough driver for your laptop, so you'll need to use one from AMD instead. Rather than installing the very newest driver though, please try this one from August:
The error 22 is usually related to an overly-active antivirus, whether a third-party program or Windows Defender's Controlled Folder Access. So you'll need to set exceptions for Sims 4 (TS4_x64.exe) and the EA App (EADesktop.exe). This article explains how to do so for Defender and a couple other popular antivirus programs:

Thank you. I had absolutely no problems until this last set of Windows updates were installed. They were WI does defender updates. I checked to see if the Sims 4 was whitelisted and it is. I still have error 22.
dinsazanes It looks like you don't have a proper graphics driver installed. So please manually download and install the newest driver for your GPU. Simply updating wouldn't necessarily fix this.
If that doesn't help, or you don't know which driver to install, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

I tried repairing the game, it did not help.
