I opened my Sims4 and saw that they had a sale going on, so I decided to buy two things (a kit and an expansion pack). I let them download, but now my game won’t open up! It’ll crash right before loading the menu. I’ve already checked, and my storage is fine, and I don’t have any CC or mods. The EA app says it has trouble connecting to servers. Ive tried resetting my PC twice now…please help 🫠
FIXED! I had to reset my PC two more times and wait very patiently for both the EA app and Steam to open before trying to open the Sims4. I dunno what did it but it’s fixed now thank goodness :)
Actually, I celebrated too early. It just crashed.
thisdeadme Are you still getting the "trouble connecting to servers" error, or something else? Does it help to put the EA App in offline mode before you play? This would cut off your access to the Gallery and the current time-limited event, but the game would otherwise work as normal.
If you're getting a different error, please post a screenshot of it. I'd also like to see a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
