thisdeadme Are you still getting the "trouble connecting to servers" error, or something else? Does it help to put the EA App in offline mode before you play? This would cut off your access to the Gallery and the current time-limited event, but the game would otherwise work as normal.
If you're getting a different error, please post a screenshot of it. I'd also like to see a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
