So my laptop is completely broken like screen detached i am not tech savvy at all ! How do i retrieve my sims game ?!

erikaselby21 If the only problem is the screen being detached, plug the laptop into a standalone monitor. The laptop may have an HDMI port, with which almost all modern monitors are compatible. If not, you can get a cheap adapter at your local computer store. And you can borrow a monitor from a friend or family member, or even a TV if necessary, since you won't need it for long.
Plug in an external drive, and copy the Sims 4 folder inside Documents > Electronic Arts to the external. If you use mods or custom content, zip the folder first: right-click it and select Send to > Compressed (zip) file. Then unzip it when you have the folder on your new computer.
If the laptop won't turn on, you'd need to remove the internal drive and connect it to a different computer to access its files. If you don't know how to do that, you might want to take the laptop to a repair shop instead of navigating the process yourself.
