Latest update has messed my Sims 4 game up.

Question

Hello everyone!Since last night I have been facing issues with my Sims 4 game. I updated to the latest patch, which is 1.67.45.1020 and repaired the game before I launched it.After the 1st repair, I got into the game as normal. And the gallery loaded successfully. A few minutes later while I was in CAS my gallery didn't actually "crash". It took forever to favorite a creation. And for that reason, I forced the game close via Task Manager.On second try I repaired the game. Gallery loaded successfully but took forever to favorite creations from other players. I did the same method - force closing the app via task manager.And after 2 repairs, I reached to the point a 3rd try would help solve the gallery issue. Unfortunately it didn't - this also messed not only the gallery but another feature of my game, the one of taking screenshots. Whenever I hit the 'C' key on my keyboard a notification shows it was saved successfully, but it wasn't. None of the "screenshots" I took showed up on my folder.&nbsp;As for the gallery, on the 3rd try all thumbnails appeared as X'ed out, unclickable and none of the items were located.I tried numerous solutions. Such as: deleting the Origin cache, reinstalling Origin and moving my TS4 folder to the desktop. No hope. Nothing worked. Which means my game has been messed up by the latest update, being partly unplayable when it comes to the gallery. I can normally create and play instead. The gallery doesn't work.Also turned off custom content and mods from the main menu settings.Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.I use Windows 10 64bit/8GB/120 GB SSD &amp; 1TB HDD/Intel Core i5 @ 2.80 GHz---EDIT 1: I have also tried turning on and off the PC and/or restarting it completely. Nothing happens.EDIT 2: I checked on my antivirus (I use Avast at the moment) and I realized my Sims 4 game has been added to the exceptions list.EDIT 3: I repaired my game on Origin 3 times, same result.

@mikrolactaki3Windows Defender may have started blocking Galleries in some way after its update, and it has happened before. You need to add not only Origin but also the game to the exceptions. To add the game to the exceptions you need to add two game files. TS4exe file and TS4_x64 file. @kreatora Does Windows Defender link to Avast Antivirus? I do use Avast Antivirus, but have disabled Windows Defender. On my Avast program I see Origin and TS4 being added to the exceptions list. Shall I do the same on Windows Defender? (even though I don't use it and it's not active on my PC)

@mikrolactaki3If you have disabled Windows Defender completely, it will not interfere with running applications. It seems that turning it off in Task Manager hurt the game because when you turned it on for the first time it worked fine. Sometimes the gallery loads very slowly and it just depends on two things. first, the speed of your internet. This speed will change depending on how busy the network is. It also depends on the number of players in the Gallery. When the server is overloaded it will take ages.Have a look here. Disable it and check Gallery without it.&nbsp;

@kreatora&nbsp;turning off Avast, the gallery works. With Avast on, doesn't.But gallery fails to load both ways, but not all the time with Avast disabled. Only when enabled.EDIT 1: I have checked the GameVersion file and it's the same as the one in my game! 🙂EDIT 2: I checked the Windows Defender process on my task manager, and it does not exist. Which means Windows Defender has been completely disabled from my PC!EDIT 3: I have tried adding TS4_x64 and TS4_LE.exe (if I got the .exe file right) to my exclusions, still the same result.
