Launching EA app and Sims 4 doesn't work

I will start by saying I have deleted the ea app and restarted my computer twice.

I started by downloading the sims 4 through the steam app, the sims 4 said it was all complete and I could launch, it would not launch no matter what I tried. 

I then went to EA and tried to download the EA app because I thought maybe it was steam giving me problems. That is when I learned I cannot even open the EA app, it gets done with the install and the icon is on my home screen by then every time I try to open it gives me different error messages, except I can only see a part of the error, the entire error box doesn't open. 

 I have tried every fix that I can find and nothing is working. I tried talking to the AI chatbot and that sent me to  try and open the EA Error Reporter, I went to try and do that but it won't even open that. 

I can't figure out how to contact EA directly. My laptop doesn't have any programs on it so I am very confused and I just want to play the Sims 4
