As for the problem itself, if you have any files in ConfigOverride, inside Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, please remove them.
If that's not the issue, do you use ReShade or GShade? If so, please remove it and repair the game.
I’ve tried doing this
but I do have gshade ill try to take it off and try repairing my game.
