Bought a new expansion pack through loaded.com. My game wouldnt load i contacted support followed all the steps my saves wouldnt load. Removed my cc and the expansion pack and my older saves worked just fine but the one i used this morning wouldnt load. My game worked just fine before buying the expansion pack WITH the cc and the mods.
patixoua Please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and confirm it works.
If it does work, download a fresh copy of one mod or cc item and add it, then a few more if the game still works. Then you can try one of your old saves in the new folder, still without the rest of your content. The idea here is to see where the process fails, if in fact it does.
By the way, if the household you want to play in the new save happens to be located in the world that came with the expansion pack you removed, it makes sense why the save wouldn't load: some critical data is missing. I don't know whether that's relevant in your case but figured it was worth mentioning.
Hello and thank you for your reply. I already tried the clean folder thing you said above and it worked just fine. (The save i was trying to load didnt have anything of get together on it btw). I then moved everything into the new folder (mods and cc) and uninstalled the get together expansion pack and my game loaded just fine. I went to load in the game today (without installing get together again) and now im stuck on the loading screen again, my tab stops responding the moment the plumbob disappears. I hope my message makes sense english isnt my first language so i apologise for that
patixoua Please remove your Mods folder again and see whether it helps this time. If not, try another new save. It's easy to break the new user folder if you add back everything at once.
There is also a patch today, in a few minutes in fact, so it's likely at least some of your mods will break.
Yes i updated the game i wont play for a few days until my mods are fixed my game wont even launch but do you know why my current save wont load and only my old ones do? Only happened after i got get together and the save didnt have anything from the new pack
patixoua It's hard to say without knowing what you might have done in the save. It could be due to Get Together not being present, or something strange could have happened with the save in the short time you were playing it, especially since you do use mods.
If you didn't spend much time on the save but like the sims you made, they should be available in your in-game library as long as you moved over the Tray files. If you DID spend some time on the save and would like to go back, you could try recovering one of the backup saves, as described here:

I spent a lot of time on said save but ill rather lose some progress than the whole save, thanks ill try it
