Load Error. Sims season with out purchasing it?

So recently my sims 4 game was updated. I thought nothing of it and once it was done updating I loaded my game.  When I loaded my game and clicked new game I quickly realized a few... glitches? I am...

I have this current problem too! have you found out the fix yet? 

ps. the warm and cold clothing panels came with the update! Along with glass roof's (don't know why they gave it free to everyone seeing as there's no use for it unless they have seasons lol)
