Major bug after toddler update

Hi

After the toddler update today, I have been unable to actually 'see' them.  Most of the stuff works, but they don't show up in my game, both making a new household or aging up a baby (The latter causes my sim to get stuck...like can't be reset then just stands there with his arms out)   I have deleted my mods, and re-booted it up.  I have no idea what is causing this.

Also, my needs bars have no icons, and my sims don't show on the bottom left now in play mode ☹️  
Also, if I am in CAS and I click on the sims face to edit, it zooms to the sims stomach...
Also, I can still technically play the game, but they are frozen however they go around their usual day, just the actual sim is stood in the bed doing nothing.

    SOLVED had to uninstall and reinstall game!

    Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

    You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

    Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

    The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

    Did you also try to repair the game through Origin ?

    I have just had to uninstall sims and all packs💔 HAving same problem!

    So you reinstalled everything and removed your user files and you have the same issue still ?

    I have the same exact problem. I used the repair option, and it made it worse somehow! I'm going to backup my files and if that doesn't work I'll reinstall. Please find a way to fix this bug!☹️
