Making a shortcut for the Sims 4 on desktop, Epic Games

I am currently trying to transfer the Sims 4 installation from my Epic Games app to my desktop as a shortcut so that I could access the game files and make some fixes to glitchy ui due to mods. However, when searching the net for how to do it, none of the answers this far have been possible for me to do.
I am told I must "click the three dots next to the game in my game library and choose Manage". However, when I go and try to do that, there is no such button to be found, my only options being 'go to store page', 'add to favorites', 'add to collection' and the 'time played'. There is no Manage option to be found. Even though I did manage to find the 'Manage Games' tab, the Sims 4 was strangely not listed.

Anyone know what the issue might be, what i'm doing wrong?

  • sawez  To make a shortcut, find TS4_x64, which you can search for in File Explorer.  (Make sure you're searching This PC and not a single folder.)  When you find it, click it and click "Open file location," which will take you to the original location.  Make a note of this in case you need to come back later.

Right-click TS4_x64 and select Send to > Desktop (shortcut), and you'll have your shortcut.
