Managed worlds is greyed out and game gets stuck on pause

Question

My sims 4 game is stuck on pause and the save game and manage world button is grey. I have tried everything from deleting mods to creating a new save file and nothing has fixed the issue. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this it would be very much appreciated

w4p5qaz7lnp2​&nbsp; Did you remove your entire Mods folder?&nbsp; If not, please try that now, and test a new save first.&nbsp; If the new save is fine, you can try your old ones.
If that doesn't or didn't help, try playing with your computer offline.&nbsp; You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.
