medical clinic kiosk is not working

My sims are sick and when i make them an  appointment and they go to the doctor they are not able to check in with the kiosk at all both check in and check out are not working for me and the sims vital and weight station in the private practice is not working at all also the pharmacy machine do work but i cant get a prescription without seeing a medical profession.

    @chantenail764 Apologies for any confusion.  The Get To Work expansion added the doctor career for sure.  It didn't add an ability for your active sims to go to the doctor though.  Also, there is no dentist option. I did a little research and found that there are a couple of mods that add these things to the game.  So I'm thinking you must have these mods and if they aren't working for you, then you'll need to contact the mod creators.  Perhaps you just need to get an update for the latest versions of the mods.

    Hello @chantenail764 !  I'm wondering if you're using a mod for this?  As far as I know, there is no option to get a doctor's appointment in the game.  The only time my sims have gone to the hospital is to have a baby, aside from the the sims in the doctor career of course.

    Hello Jona0703 i dont know if it is a mod could be  it is part of the get to work expansion pack it was a new update and when i updated the game i was able to schedule appointments for my sims never have before been had the get to work expansion pack since last year and i was never ever able to schedule an appointment or visit the dentist .

    @chantenail764 Hello again!  I'm so sorry, I completely forgot to mention the medicine!  I was too focused on the fact that sims can't go to the doctor and I neglected to answer your question about the sick sims.  You can order medicine from the computer or from the phone.

    Click on a computer and look for the order option.  Then click purchase medicine.

    On the phone, click the household button, then click purchase gifts.  The medicine will be almost halfway down in the list that pops up.
