My document files are gone
This happened the day after I updated origin. I tried to log into the sims and none of my mods showed up or were at all registered by the game. I turned mods off then back on and reloaded the game and they still weren't showing up. I tried deleting the documents file and reloading the game but when I opened the game it didn't create another document file so now I don't know where I am supposed to put my mods. How do I get the game to create a new folder or where can I put mods? The game still opens and plays normally but the files aren't there anymore.
Please try this:
- Make a backup of all files in Documents and Pictures.
- Go to system tray (the area next to the clock on the task bar).
- Right click on OneDrive icon and click on Settings.
- Go to the Autosave tab.
- On the section "Choose where to save your documents and pictures", select "This PC" on both Documents and Pictures.
- Save this settings and try the game again.
