My game constantly crashes

Hello!

So I've been having a super annoying issue the last weeks time. I went from being able to play without issue, to my game often crashing within 10 minutes of playing. Sometimes it'll crash within 2 minutes of me loading a save, other times I can play for 20 minutes before it happens. I've probably loaded up a save about 25 times in the last 4 days, and I've been able to play for hours without crashing maybe 4 times.

At first I suspected my mods, but even after removing them, it still crashes. There doesn't seem to be a system to the crashes either. It mostly happens when I control my sims, but it has also crashed multiple times in buildmode and cas. I'm losing my mind. :')

I repaired the game and could pay 2 times in a row without crashing. But now it's crashing again.. help?

    TwinklingDK  As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.

    If you get another crash, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
