Rachiboulawan I saw someone a few hours ago say that they fixed the issue by removing their Mods folder, so please try that. I'm not saying you can't play without mods, only that one or more mods might be the problem here.
Other than that, I'll post back when I have any news about this error. It may be solved with an EA App update rather than a Sims 4 update, so you might not need to wait for the next Sims 4 patch.
It still doesn't work... even after the EA App update, nothing's working...!
