I am having the same problem. I've tried working with my firewall settings and letting origin past my firewall. I've tried reinstalling it. My origin has been "Offline" for weeks and I finally got the Sims 4 and tried installing it and, turns out, you need origin to be online. Big shocker. However I would be really pleased if someone could post a very detailed solution that would work. I know I'm not helping, but I need a solution. I've been all over the forums and each thread that says "SOLVED" on it has not worked for me. I don't know what to do. My aunt had the same problem with installing her copy too, Origin was offline. She talked to the EA Support team on facebook and they helped her fix her problem. I tried what they suggested and nothing. Origin is still offline. What am I supposed to do? Someone please help, Thank you.

I am having the same problems. I can get login to the internet no problem but Origin thinks I am not connected. About to send it all back and get a refund.

Control Panel --> Internet Options --> Connections --> LAN Settings --> Untick Proxy Server Here's some other suggestions: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin/How-to-Fix-Origin-Login-Unavailable/td-p/3218195 If this doesn't help, check this thread: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin/Origin-Client-says-quot-Online-login-is-currently-unavailable/td-p/2069735/ or this one: http://answers.ea.com/t5/Origin/Origin-Client-says-quot-Online-login-is-currently-unavailable/td-p/2069735/
