My Sims 4 is broken

I cant play my game and haven't been able to since the last up date. my game started lagging and then it wouldn't load . I uninstalled it and then redownloaded it again to find that the scenario button was missing and when i went into cas the traits bar was missing. i turned back to direct x 9 and the scenario button came back but not the traits bar. I have completely removed all my sims games and EA app from my pc and downloaded it all again as if new and I still don't have a scenario button or a traits bar I've noticed things going missing from my game for sometime now. I have a lot of boxes with a red cross in when I have tried to use debug and have had pop ups saying item's have been removed. I don't use mods or cc so i know its not because of that. I have spent a lot of time and money on the sims ,I have every pack to date .My pc is up to date and I would really appreciate a way to fix this. I have been playing the sims for the past 25 years and want to be able to play for the next 25 years.
