AerionCross If your computer has a newer Intel K-series processor, try updating your motherboard's BIOS. There's an issue with high-end Intel CPUs that the board overclocks by default, and a BIOS update fixes the issue some of the time.
If that doesn't help, or you don't know how to look for an update, or you don't have one of these processors (or aren't sure), please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
