Jeminemz Try removing only the files inside License. Then launch Sims 4, if you can, and if there's a new file in License, leave that in place and note its name. Copy back all the other files that were in License except for the one that has the same name as the new one.
Hey I tried this but there is no file named license. So I don't know what to do. Will wait to try on any other pc in future and let you know
Its in program data folder.. Usually hidden

Yes... Also i upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 on the laptop where the problem began and can pkay now. For some reason rhe license for sims 4 wasnt in the license folder.. But after turning to windows 10 it appeared.
Could be a legacy edition problem.... They dont like when we use older versions.
