No option to cook/bake a cake?

The baking a cake option doesn't come up in my game for the Sims 4. I don't know why. I can cook everything else fine but when I try to make a cake ,there is no cake available to bake. Please help i...

    Do you have any Mods or CC? If so move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game.

Hi;

Are you using the Griddle instead of a regular stove/oven? I've found that using the Griddle doesn't allow baked goods.

No, it's a regular oven. I've even used two different ovens to try but still no cake option
