Origin Log in Problems

When I try to download Sims 4 the origin download manager loads which is fine but when i try to login to Origin so I can download the game it says I'm not online which is incorrect because my computer is online all the time. So, what could possibly be the problem. I'm getting very frustrated with this thing and am getting ready to throw the game into the recycle bin. I have uninstalled it and reloaded, I've checked all my connections, and I've turned off the computer and back on again after reloading. Nothing has worked. So, are there any solutions?

    MollySha76  Origin was sunset for Windows almost two years ago, and for most versions of macOS almost a year ago.  So it's not supposed to work at all.  But you can simply use the EA App instead.  Sign into your account and you should see Sims 4 in your game library; you can download it there without doing anything special.  Or if you're trying to register a copy of the game, click Library and redeem your code there.
