@CalzoneCat Please disable any overlays you have running: Steam, Discord, etc. If that doesn't help, disable the Origin in-game overlay as well. Hover over your username, select Application Settings, then the Origin in-game header, and disable the option at the top. You may also need to disable it on the Sims 4 level: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Game Properties, and uncheck the box next to Origin in-game.

So hey yeah, it seems to be the Discord app that's effecting the mouse. That's the only one I turn off and it goes back to normal and I leave all my other apps/overlays on! So it might be something to do with Discord...

I had this issue for a long time, when you click on a sim to spin them and they just keep spinning, like the mouse control is way too sensitive. I originally fixed this by turning off origin in-game, but after the last update the problem is back and even worse. I still have origin in-game turned off, but I get the origin pop up at the bottom when I open the game. I saw someone say that they disabled their discord overlay and that fixed it, but I've had the discord overlay since before the update and it has always been fine. I just want to know how to fix this again because it makes CAS unusable, and it's my favorite part of the game.

So I’m having some issues with the mouse cursor when they released the update that patched some bug fixes. I turned off my mods completely and my mouse is still either the windows default mouse or a constant spinning wheel. The sensitivity is also extremely high in CAS and when I use the tab camera mode in game. I’ve repaired my game and all expansions, game, and stuff packs, turned off all my CC, and updated my PC drivers. I haven’t seen any posts regarding this issue so I assumed it was a bad piece of CC, but it’s not the case.

So hey yeah, it seems to be the Discord app that's effecting the mouse. That's the only one I turn off and it goes back to normal and I leave all my other apps/overlays on! So it might be something to do with Discord...

I’m having the same issues I don’t have mods or steam overlays or whatever open. I rebooted my game and it’s still not working. Help

@Mayfrog95 Did you try the other suggestions in the first post? Other overlays, for example Discord or even Origin in-game, can also cause this issue.

Otherwise, please try playing in a clean boot, as suggested in the first post.

If none of these steps help, please let me know whether you see the issue only in CAS or also in live mode.
