unable to get to gameplay/residential and manage worlds loop

so ever since last update (sept updt), my game has been doing this thing where everything loads normal (cas is fine, loading screens are fine, main menu is fine, options menu is fine, residential/manage worlds is fine.) so i try loading. i press resume game, loading screen is normal, until i get the residential worlds screen. i thought it was a glitch so i ignore it and just manually click which world my character is in (del sol valley), click the house/lot, press the play button, loading screen, back to residential worlds. this glitch is very persistant and i really need help because i want to play the sims again but this annoying glitch keeps happening. i have already reinstalled sims, cleared the cache, restarted computer, deleted the whole saves folder, took out my cc. after specifically removing the cc, i am able to get into the gameplay. i then remove all my script mods and im still not able to get in. i dont know what to do anymore at this point, ive literally nuked my whole saves file multiple times at this point. it worked fine before and j need to know whats happening.
