Packs wont load

Every time I open my game recently, it says none of my packs are downloaded and tells me to restart the game. I've closed and reopened the game, repaired it, uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app, cleared my cache, and nothing has worked for me. Admittedly, I'm not the most tech-savvy, but I've looked at many similar problems online and haven't found a solution that works. I have no CC or Mods Thank you!

  • laurynmarriott  Try deleting UserSetting.ini, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.  This file holds the data about which packs are deactivated, so deleting it should enable all of them.  Plus the file might be corrupt, based on what you've described.

  • I've been having the same issue all day. The EA app says that all of my packs are installed but I get the same screen when I select "LOAD GAME" from my Home Screen. I saw someone say something about needing to activate them through the marketplace, and when I open the marketplace, it says that all of the packs are owned but deactivated. I do not use CC and never have on this game, tried deleting my cache, repairing my game, updating my game (as an update came out while I was dealing with this), and used the "App Recovery" function on my Mac but nothing is helping. If I select all the packs in marketplace, it gives me a warning that if I deactivate the packs, my gameplay and saves could be messed up. I don't want to deactivate them though, they are already deactivated and I only wish to activate them. Is this a bug? Why is everything deactivated and will I have to go through this process every time?
