Pie menu lag

Noticing that there is severe delay with opening the pie menu when clicking on my sim or even to just click the fridge. I have taken out my mods and even with them out I notice there is still the sam...

    cocoskin14  Please update your laptop's Nvidia graphics driver.  You can get the newest version here:

    https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/

    Select GeForce, GeForce 900 series (notebooks), GTX 950M, Windows 10, and download the Game Ready Driver.  Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Restart after installing and before trying to play.

cocoskin14  Does it happen if you empty out your sims' inventories?  What about if they're living on a different lot?  You don't need to save your progress.

If neither helps, please test a different (previously unplayed) household in this save, and new sims in a new save, for comparison's sake.  Let me know what you find.

    Just to let you know that I did what you suggested and it did not work I'm still experiencing the lag, my game is basically unplayable at this point.  But thank you for your help and response.
