RealKakyoinStan Try playing with all of your saves except the most recent one, by date. The Main Menu loads a preview of your most recent household, and if it can't, the game crashes before you get to the menu. So your other saves may be fine.
If only your main save is affected but you want to try to recover it, try restoring a backup:
