emurray09 That depends on what kind of cc you use. Can you split the household into individual sims and figure out which one is the issue?
Whether one sim is affected or all of them, I would still do the 50/50 method on your cc to see which items are necessary for the household to load. It's useful information if nothing else, and you can make a decision on how to proceed once you know where the problem is coming from. You might even be able to remove that cc from the sims, when you can load the household, and use other cc or Maxis items for now.

Once I find what CC is necessary for the household to load, would removing it make the household unusable? I guess that's what's throwing me off: the fact that I need the CC for the family to load. I can't figure out why a vanilla game would have the issue instead. Thank you again for your help!
