Re: Can viruses be redownladed, from Sims 4 games bought on Origin?

The extra content I have is from Origin, I don't dowload from sites I don't trust. I had Kaspersky the paid for version, but it didn't find what attacked my previous computer.

I think the virus came from a blog site I used from a dodgy link I thought as safe. (i've now deleted my account there, because I don't trust the site anymore.)

I just wanted, to be sure, that it's safe to redownlad Sims and that the virus couldn't have attached to my games. I read somewhere that redownloadning games can be risky, because virues can sometime cling to downlooaded content.

If that would be the case a lot of people would have virusses as the content comes from the Origin servers.

As we haven't heard anything, I think it's safe to say you can download them without getting a virus.

@Phantomlover1717 is right. I've been playing and downloading EA/Origin games since Early 2000, that's almost 17 years. I have NEVER gotten any kind of virus, malware or anything bad on my computer from EA Games/Origin. I trust them and, have Origin and, all of my games that need online access set to ALLOW (as exceptions to all traffic control rules) in my firewall and anti virus. I've had it that way for years, on several computers, never a problem from anything EA/Origin.
