@borismel1981  Please uninstall the EA App using Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine).  Restart your computer, download a fresh copy of the EA App installer, and run it.

If you still can't play, restart your computer again, and this time, run both Steam and the EA App as an admin: right-click each one's desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator."  Only try to launch Sims 4 once both game launchers are open and have loaded fully.

If that doesn't help either, please let me know what antivirus you use, if any.
