PuddleOfBats It sounds like the game is now reading a different folder than the one that contains your saves and other user data. Here's how to find that location:

Compare the full path to the file path for a save: right-click the save and select Properties > General, then look at the Location. Everything has to match exactly, up to the Sims 4 folder.
If the new location is fine with you, move your files there. If it's not fine, for example it's in OneDrive and you don't want that, let me know where it is and where you'd like your data to be.
oh my god thank you so much!! its going through my regular onedrive downloads folder which is empty. Can i get it to go through my personal downloads folder or anything like that?
