Re: Sim gets a materialistic moodlet without having the trait

@crinrict I made the sim recently, by myself, and mainly to share it on the gallery.
The sim always had the traits high maintenance, vegetarian and ambitious.

After I had uploaded the sim to the gallery, I downloaded it to a new save.

I'll try your advice and get back with updates.

    @t00sa Did she get the moodlet right away or after a while ? Any active lifestyles yet ?

    I downloaded her and so far she's fine

    @crinrict Huh weird that it works for you. But the moodlet comes after a while and when you are in "stale surroundings".

    And do you mean active lifestyles, as in Snowy Escape? Because I don't have that pack

    @t00sa I just let the game run and am on Day 3 now and she still doesn't have it.

    And yeah, forgot that lifestyles are SE only :D

    @crinrict haha no worries.

    Also, I just started a new save and got a cheap house in Willow Creek. After a day or so, she got the moodlet. Now I'm in one of those Del Sol Valley mansions, trying to see if she gets a happy moodlet from all the expensive stuff. So far, she's only got the nicely decorated moodlet.

    @crinrict I can believe it, she got the same tense moodlet instead while in the mansion?

    ...what o-O I'm flabbergasted

    @t00sa Did the adding/removing trait also not work ?

    EDIT: Ha. on day 4 she got the moodlet. Wonder if it's by high maintenance and just has the wrong text

    @crinrictInteresting theory, maybe if we make a completely new sim with the same traits and see if the bug occurs?

    edit: also thanks for testing it out, now I know to reupload a new, fixed version of the sim.

    @t00sa I tried the adding/removing trait and it's been over a week now and the moodlet didn't come back.

    Here's what I did

    1. Remove one of the existing traits via cheat (you have to do that otherwise you can't add another)
    2. Add the materialistic trait
    3. Buy something new and admire it to make the moodlet go away
    4. Remove the materialistic trait
    5. Add the trait you removed again
