So, I had the same problem with the missing mods folder, I have around 900-1000 cc in my mods folder and now my mods folder is completley gone. I can look it up in finder and find The folder but the folder isnt in Electronic arts>sims 4. There is one Item In it but When I load my game All my mods show up...

I have searched every folder and I cannot don't mods I have clocked everything it has not downloaded with Sims 4 HELP me please!

The user folders are created the first time you run the game. Here is an easy way to find out which folder your game is using: https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder

My friend is experiencing the same problem. She is playing the sims on a gaming laptop but she is unsure what the laptop is called. I told her your solution and she said that she still cannot find the electronic mods folder. And I don't know what to do because it worked for me.

The name of the laptop is written on a sticker on the laptop.

If your friend can not use the described method finding the Documents\electronic arts\The Sims 4\Mods folder she needs the assistance of someone to show her. Given her lack of knowledge of computers she may want to rethink the idea of her using Mods/CC unless she can find someone that maintains them for her.

Did you ever find your mods folder? Mine is missing completely as well but all my mods are still showing up in the game.. I can't remove them or add anything new since the folder dissapeared ......
