@jpkarlsen NOK. RoamingAppData & GetTempPath should be used for the temporary and setting files.

Yes temporary files should go to the TEMP folder. Since when has game saves and screenshots been classified as temporary files? You may want to lose your saves each time the TEMP folder is emptied but I'm sure no one else will.
- @jpkarlsen The original complaint was, as I myself have experienced, not about the saves, but about many, many temporary files, stored while playing, and removed by game closure. AKA temp files.
