@LadyT29138  Please move your entire Sims 4 user data folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  Open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.  Then launch the game, which will create a new Sims 4 folder.  Don't add anything to it yet.

Start a new save, play for a bit, save, quit, open the game again, and see whether you can still play that save.  If you can, then try moving one of the backup saves from before into the new user data folder.  Again, don't add anything else aside from the one save you're testing.

Then restart your computer, and repair the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.  Go into Documents\Electronic Arts and move the Sims 4 folder to the desktop, or delete it if it doesn't have anything you want in it.  (You may need to change its name to move it to the desktop, if your old folder is still there.)  Try to start another new save, and let me know whether it works.

ok. my gams is still not working and the i got the Flickr to stop by uninstall and fix all my mods again but i still can't play my game

@LadyT29138  So the flickering is gone, but the game doesn't work?  What happens when you try to play?  Does a new save work correctly?

when I  click on my sims to play the game go into load screen then it go back to where I start from and I go into the mean go to game some and where the season tab is at  it say I have no sims counts and I can go into build mode and just can't play the game. I buy the package it will not load. smh 

@LadyT29138  Is this after you moved the Sims 4 folder?  You shouldn't be able to see your existing sims, or your saves, or anything else you've created in-game.

If you're still seeing your content, that means the game is reading a different folder, not the one you've moved.  Please go to the Main Menu, click Load Game, hover over the folder icon underneath the name for one of your saves, and write it here.  The second screenshot in this article shows where to find the info:

I have to hard c and d. my game is on d. I just look on the screenshot save and it says it still on c and how can I change that to d ?

@LadyT29138  You can change it later; it's not that complicated.  But please leave that alone for now.  Just move the Sims 4 folder that's on C (the one in Documents\Electronic Arts) to your desktop.  The point is to get a new version of this folder, one that doesn't have any content in it at all, and see whether a new save works in this new folder.

I fix the problem with my sims4 game. Now when I load my game with one of my folder the game up load with now problem and if i add that folder back to my mods folder i get this error message. How do  I fix this.

@LadyT29138  Are you saying that the game works normally if you have no mods, but you get the error if you add your mods?  In that case, it's clear that one of your mods is the problem.  You can test them separately, adding a few at a time to the Mods folder in your Sims 4 folder.  Don't move over the entire Mods folder; let the game create a new one and then add the mods to that.

You may have a corrupt or outdated mod of some kind, or it's possible that one of your mods doesn't work with the patch level of your game or with the packs you have installed.

If you can't get any mods to work at all, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

No. it just of my mods folder that giving me the problem and I did fine some of my mods was corrupt  now I repair the game and add one by to see if there any more corrupt folder and if them need to be up date

I finally get my games working and I am still have some error still pop up and This error keep pop up in the game when I am playing

@LadyT29138  Some errors that MCCC flags are harmless, and others need to be addressed.  Is your game crashing, or glitching, or otherwise acting strangely?  If not, you can probably ignore the errors.  If you are having trouble, try testing the same in-game actions (for example, having your sims make fizzy drinks) in a new save, and see whether you get the same errors.

The bottom line is, some features of Sims 4 don't work as well as they should, and MCCC will find and report errors in just about any save.  But if you're not having other issues, you're probably fine.

MCCC saying that it from [snip] but I get new update from them and I pay for [snip] each month and I pay for just about most of my mods and this sure be happen

@LadyT29138  You shouldn't have to pay for any mods.  They're all supposed to have free versions, and MCCC and most other good ones release the free ones soon after a patch.

Is your game working correctly or not?

I know but it's okay and I want to show my support for the peoples that do the mods because they put in alote of work for the mods and it's just crazy sometime things go crzay sometime and I just got a new [Admin - removed mention of mod with adult content] and I am going try it now and I will let you know how it go.
