Reoccuring game crashes at seemingly random points (CTD)
Hi,
I am having an infuriating crashing issue with the sims 4.
It happens at seemingly random times. Sometimes after about an hour of play time, sometimes after just minutes. No discernible pattern. I have read as many fix posts as possible before posting and can't seem to figure this out!
My computer is not new, but has solid specs and should be able to run this game with no issues according to the manufacturers specs, it runs other games without issue (I play alot of Cities:Skylines).
I attached my dxdiag for reference.
I also attached my last crash report.
Notes:
- It is not happening when I am traveling or loading.
- I do not run any mods, playing completely vanilla.
- Graphic drivers are up to date.
- Computer is defraged and registry is cleaned regularly with Ccleaner
- I have already tried a clean boot (no difference)
- As far as virus software goes, I am using windows defender with malwarebyte.
- I have already tried to repair the game with origin (no difference)
- I have already tried to run on low settings (no difference)
- I play with origin in-game options disabled (no difference)
- I have deleted game folder and started fresh already (no difference)
- I uninstalled and re-installed origin (no difference)
- I have monitored temperature on my graphics card and processor and it does not seem to be the issue.
I really just want to play this game and it is doing its best to drive me bat s**t crazy!!!!!
