Repairing Broke My Game
Hello! Originally I thought the issues I had with TS4 were my mods, so I removed the mods that I have. I couldn't get past the first loading screen. I made sure that my game was updated and I even d...
@taeddiez Please move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. (This folder often doesn't get removed when the game is uninstalled.) When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to the folder yet; just see whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit. Let me know either way.
If you can't play in a clean folder, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Thank you so much it is working! May I know if it was the folder itself that was the issue?
@taeddiez It's most likely some file within the folder; occasionally it's one of the subfolders itself, e.g. the saves folder is corrupt but the save inside are fine. You can move your existing content to the new folder in batches, testing each time; any batch that causes an issue needs to be split and tested again until you find the problem. Here's a list of everything inside your user folder:

You'll notice that many of the files don't need to be put back and will regenerate as necessary, and in those cases you can just let the game use its new copies.
