Approximately 4 weeks ago, my Sims 4 game and Origin both got deleted from my pc. I quickly reinstalled both, but when I try to play, it wants me to start with new Sims, despite the fact that I have over 2400 hours logged with families, homes and careers. How can I get all of them back??

If you did not have it backed up then it would not be possible to retrieve it.
The best thing to do is to check in your save folder to see if your previous save file is there.

It didn't actually work . . . . and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. . . . I guess I have to start all over. And I really don't want to do that, but if I want to play Sims 4 I guess I have to. This is horrible.
