Sack Lunch disappearing

Question

I got the new Sims 4 Parenthood pack yesterday and while one of my Sims was making lunches for the kids (which is an awesome new feature), I found out they disappear.

It's not a specific one but the ones that disappeared the most were either the Tuna Salad or the Hummus one. Also, it only seems to happen if something is queued up (showering, cleaning up, making a different sack lunch etc.) and I checked if they didn't disappear behind the house or under the counters because I knew this issue too well with Sims 3 that things would 'clip' through.&nbsp;

I tried what most other would try or recommend, i.e taking CC out (I also didn't use any custom fridges, counters or anything like it), deleting localthumbcache, repairing the game etc,&nbsp;

It's an annoying issue because it charges me 3 Simoleons to make a lunch and then it disappears (and it also takes precious time away for my Sims when they should be sleeping or doing other stuff)

I think the best solution for now is to just not queue anything up and wait for a new patch or fix by the community.&nbsp;

could you both rename your user folders and let the game create one, then start a new game and see if the issue still occurs

is it a hit and miss or does it happen every time you queue something up ? I couldn't duplicate just now but only tried once cause my Sim left for work right after ...

Did you try on a fresh game with no mods/cc installed ?

EDIT: Tested some more and can't replicate this at all. They are all put in the fridge for me.

I'm experiencing this as well. I had no actions queued up but took leftovers from dinner to pack in a sack lunch using that option and after it was done it disappeared. Happened twice in a row. I do have CC so I'm going to attempt without and see if it resolves but that will probably take a few days so I just wanted to pop in and say that you are not alone!

Can't replicate this either. All sack lunches are going into the fridge after being made or left on the side.

Embarrassing, but wanted to update because I found my lunches. They did not go into fridge, on the counter, or into inventory. When I noticed some weird green spoiled waves I changed from walls cut way to walls up and there was a shelf there and for some reason that was where they decided to put the lunch. I looked everywhere, and it just seemed like they went into thin air until days later there's a pile of four rotten bags of food. So since then they keep putting them on the shelf, but now I know where they go and it's fine. It's not disappearing into the void as I originally thought. 👍
