screen goes white

I am having an issue where I will play the game for a period of time when suddenly the screen will go white and I can't exit or open task manager to close.  I still hear the Sims music in the background.  I am running on a Hp - Omen 30L Desktop with an AMD 3rd Generation Ryzen 7 3.6 gigahertz 7 CPU (model 3700X), my computer has 16 GB of RAM, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Graphics Card with 6 GB of Video Memory, 256 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD Storage.  I have updated all drivers, windows, etc. (Including Video Drivers) and verified it wasn't related to a monitor issue by using a different monitor.  Any help would be appreciated whereas I bought this gaming computer specifically for playing The Sims!

Thank you.  I ran dxdiag and had my dad who is in IT review and there were no problems.

@SYDNEYRAE2001  That's fine, but I'd still like to see the dxdiag, so I know a bit more about your system.  Without seeing it, all I can really suggest is that you disable Origin in-game, but that usually only helps people whose games don't load in the first place.  If you want to try it, open Origin, hover over your username, select Application Settings, then the Origin in-game header, and disable the option at the top.

Without a dxdiag, everything is pretty much a shot in the dark.
