Shut down laptop during system update and sims 4 won't respond at all
Hi
I recently shut down laptop during a system update and origin and sims 4 will not auto run at all. If I have to re install, will I lose my origin account and expansions?

no, you won't loose anything if you need to reinstall the game.
I would try repairing the game first though. To do so, right click on it in Origin and choose repair game.
